Nadine Araksi – Kickstartology Co-Founder

Nadine Araksi Toronto-based Story Coach and Writer

Nadine Araksi

Nadine Araksi (formerly Silverthorne) writes for some of Canada’s best-known media brands and appears on podcasts and television. She rose in ranks as a leader on the business side of media before deciding that coaching was more aligned with her love of exploring stories, helping women and building community.

Nadine helps women seeking more joy and ease, learn to manage their minds as they navigate living through these uncertain times. Nadine is obsessed with examining the stories we tell ourselves that keep us stuck and oppress us. As a first-generation Armenian-Canadian descendant of genocide survivors, Nadine’s passion is to rewrite societal, cultural, and familial stories to liberate and empower women and marginalized groups.

Nadine focuses on well-being through mind-body-spirit practices and helping women work through trauma, create transformation, and avoid burnout through story exploration. A single co-parent to two teenagers who have experienced medical drama, Nadine successfully used the Alignment Framework to break cycles of anxiety and process unresolved anger and grief impacting her day-to-day. She’s also applied the coaching tools to changing her career, dating post-divorce and generally moving towards an aligned life that is happier, healthier and less stressful than the one she was living.

Nadine shares her personal experiences of moving from darkness to light with courage, kindness, and gratitude with those ready to listen and use them as a catapult for their own life and mindset changes. In 2023 Nadine stepped back from Kickstartology to focus on writing. She’s currently working towards building the habits and daily actions to complete her first book of personal essays and plans to move to Spain someday. An active community volunteer, Nadine wants imagination to win out over cynicism and always strives to walk the talk.
